Due to predicted inclement weather the Champion Historical Society Picnic has been changed to Wednesday Aug. 14.The Champion Historical Society will meet for a picnic (hot dog roast) and social gathering on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 6 pm.
The picnic will be held at Society member, Randy Sampson’s house located at 7128 Mahoning Ave. NW (approximately 1/4 mile north of Willow Lake on the East side of Mahoning – right when traveling northbound).
Each member is asked to bring a side dish. Hot dogs and all the fixings will be provided as well as beverage and paper goods.
You can bring your own chair to sit by the fire.
Thanks to Randy and his family for providing the venue and to the programming committee for all of their work in planning this event.
